I am absolutely thrilled to announce (once again) that I will be playing the role of Mrs. Wormwood in The Broadway Theatre of Pitman's upcoming production of Matilda The Musical running January 14th to February 6th! The Covid-19 pandemic prevented this production from going up in 2020 and it is amazing to have the opportunity to present it as the opener to BToP’s 2022 season!
Matilda is a little girl with astonishing intelligence and psychokinetic powers. Unloved by her cruel parents, she manages to impress her teacher Miss Honey. Meanwhile, the school's headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, loves thinking up cruel punishments for children who disobey her rules. However, Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts which could very well be the school pupils' saving grace!
