I am very grateful, humbled, and proud to announce that I have been nominated or a 2018 Perry Award for Best Lead Actress in a musical for my portrayal of Queenie in The Wild Party!
The Wild Party ran from October 13, 2017 to October 28, 2017 at CDC Theatre in Cranford, New Jersey. This production received a grand total of 14 nominations, including Best Direction, Best Choreography, and Best Musical. My co-stars also racked up an additional 5 nominations for Best Lead Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Featured Actor, and Best Featured Actress!
I want to take the time to thank everyone who has reached out to me to congratulate me on this nomination. Playing Queenie has hands down been the highlight of my theatrical career and if deserve this even the tiniest bit at all it’s because of the cast and creative team that surrounded me during The Wild Party. They are all shining stars and I was there also.
This year's NJACT Perry Award Ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 16, 2018. So, a big congratulations and the very best of luck to all of this year's nominees!
