Recipe: The Golden Egg

Inspired by: It’s Only A Play

A golden rum-based cocktail with limeade, pineapple, angostura bitters, topped with ginger beer and a ginger candy garnish.

“I got the talent, sir. All I need is the opportunity to show it…”


  • 2 oz golden rum

  • 1/2 oz limeade

  • 1/2 oz  pineapple Juice

  • 2 dashes of angostura bitters

  • topped with 1 oz ginger beer

  • ginger candy garnish

  1. Combine golden rum, limeade, pineapple, and bitters in cocktail shaker.

  2. Shake with ice and strain.

  3. Serve with rocks or without.

  4. Top with ginger beer.

  5. Garnish with ginger candy.
